I think you're na�ve --- I think that if the theaters were *perfect* and
gave away sodas and popcorn for free, the folks with broadband still
wouldn't blink an eye about downloading it and watching it at home.  It
is *really* hard to beat "for free" and "at home"...  Look at the mp3
stuff: mp3s are virtually free to buy legitimately (itunes, etc), and
*STILL* the college LANs [and usenet] are swamped with pirated copying...
