I have a microadvantage dvd+/- drive #4dvdrw-13 and I wanted to upgrade its firmware.
On their website it refers to checking what version of firmware is installed currently.
How can I tell.
Unless they are a rebrand they should have a utility for this. Look around some more on their website or find out what the main brand is & go to that website. You could also go to The Firmware Page at <http://forum.rpc1.org/index.php> & see if they have anything that can help with your particular drive.
If I upgrade the firmware do I also have to look for upgrades to the driver?
