Hi,
Friend had a trojan a few days ago. Norton could not clean it up
completely. So he went back to an older setup. Things were still not quite
right, so he re-installed WinXP (Pro BTW).
During that process, a data file (Word doc), located on the same partition,
appeared to be a week older. All the recent changes in the .doc lost.
We're puzzled - how did that happen?
Does WinXP mess with data files, when you go back to an earlier setup, as in
this case. Hard to believe.
