I have a client with the 3Com Office Connect router model #3cr860-95. The have an offsite hosted webbased CRM solution, SugarCRM which is hosted at Serverbeach.com. The problem is that when they login, after clicking 3 or 4 links, they lose access to the CRM site, page cannot be displayed etc. In this office there is a second network with a Linksys router that does not experience this problem.
I had a look through the router logs and it says the IP address of the CRM webserver has been blacklisted because of a SYN/ACK attack. I called 3Com support but since this unit is over 3 months old, support will cost US$350 during business hours and US$1000 afterwards. I can replace the router for that price.:-( Anyhow, I am looking through the 3com knowledgebase to see if I can find a solution, anyone seen this before and have an idea on how to fix this? -- Harondel J.
