You don't mention which digital camera(if any) you have. One of the reasons that I went with a Nikon digital a few years ago was that Nikon has an adapter that will allow you to photo your slides or 35mm film. Thus, converting them to digital. I got much better results that way than attempting to scan with a flat beed scanner.
