Thanks Arie and Bernie,
I noticed I could add ones right after my last post, but the pool.ntp.org
failed too... (I had removed the permissions from the firewall...)
When I added the permissions back, the computer started looking at some
random locations for "time", ts2-144.twistspace.com (failed),
wlmla.solnetsolutions.co.nz,
(which is what you get when looking "in" a pool of servers), so I am staying with the
"other"
new time program I got... There is something about going to "random places"
that seems
to be counter productive in a security sense. (And like I had said, the clock
keeps good time...)

Actually, you don't just have two choices [as I've recently discovered].
It looks like it is just a dropdown list [with just the two choices,
neither of which seems to work], but it is actually a "combo" box -- if
you just type in another server [as I did for "pool.ntp.org"] you'll find
that it goes in just fine [and indeed, is added to the dropdown if/when
you want to mess with it again].
