Efx is just one of the standard image formats - but they did something so you
can't just rename it.
I dropped it because of the cost - $10 a month was just too much for my needs.
I now use send2fax - I pay $1 a month plus a per page fee (10 or 15 cents per
page), but the new price is $2 a month. I rarely go over $6/mo, so I'm ahead.
I was also fed up with the junk faxes and their asinine way of reporting them.

I am a paid subscriber, but I still get .efx. Hm. Maybe I'll write to them.
I thought that the efx format was a compressed tiff, but that could be wrong.
Why did you cancel your subscription, Diane? What do you use instead?
