Before I could confirm that the add in being unchecked was the solution
the client started reporting additional issues with Excel and some other
bank apps.

The department wanted a reimage so that is what is going on now.

However, I learned today that the issue seemed to appear after the client
used a distribution list which would generate a message about "incomplete"
process or task. Don't know the actual wording.

Last night after client left I did the uncheck the addins as she had
turned monitor off with Outlook hung. I used task manager to kill outlook
and then from her desktop launched Outlook and unchecked all addins and
found no COMS addins.

Today she was able to run that distribution list operation without hanging
up but now that these other issues have clouded the situation I fear I'll
never know what was the cause.

As much as I hate an issue which has an elusive solution, I hate not being
able to work an issue to conclusion.
