The switching to IE engine works well for me. I am working at the "worlds
largest software company" and many of my internal tools would not render in
NS, v.7.
Netscape v.8 allowed me to do some but not all work, using internal tools.
I just keep it around for testing purposes, and for those few sites that IE
has trouble with.
It did not APPEAR to break my IE, but I uninstalled it anyway, since I do
mission critical work for a dev/test group.
YMMV, and value all advice at cost.
