Interesting. How would one run your program on windows XP? I do not have

Hi,
Being responsible for a web-site with authorised access to some pages, I
had
to come up with a password generator, so I wrote one in QuickBASIC! It
makes
a password of 8 mixed lower-case alphas (easier to give over the phone!) &
numerics, but without i,l,o,1,0 to avoid font confusion. The randomising
depends on how long I wait to hit a key after starting the program. The
user
name + password then gets encrypted via an app somewhere on the web, &
that's what I add to the .htpasswd file in our web site.
Want to try it?
Regards,
Richard
