If it were me I'd use GRC's Wizmo <http://www.grc.com/wizmo/wizmo.htm> to
shutdown & use the Windows Scheduler to setup the time to shutdown & on top
of all that it's freeware. Heck you could even use Windows Scripting & have
it check the time in the AM & if it's too early have the system shutdown
using wizmo.
One nice thing about computers is that there are so many ways to do a thing
& many times it's just personal preference. Another nice thing is here we
get those all so many opinions, links & other ideas to make a thing work
the way we had in mind. FWIW & as always YMMV. ;-)
