Rob-
I have a little macro that works in Excel that will list all files on any CD
and then you could save the spreadsheet as a main directory to be searched
anytime you like if you wish to venture into Excel. I will help you OFFLIST
if you need.

Subject: CD Archival Software

Afternoon all,

I'm shortly going to archiving a bunch of files from my PC onto a number
of CD's to clear up some much needed disk space.

Is there any freebie software that can keep track of what files I've put
onto what cd?

Should I need one of the files in the future I'd like to be able to
consult a program, search all the files I've put out to CD and have it
tell me which CD the files I'm interested in are on.

Does such a beast exist?

I've run a Google search but didnt turn up antyhing likely, I was
probably not using the correct terms.

I run W2K in case it makes a difference.

Thanks,

Rob
