I cannot get ActiveX to install. I tried putting all the IE settings for
ActiveX to enable or prompt. I shut off all the shields on SpySweeper and
closed it. I disabled all the Spyware Blaster protections. I went to the
website:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/microsoftupdate/default.mspx

Clicked OK when it asked to allow ActiveX to install.
Was directed to another screen that said:

Install the ActiveX control required to view the website
The website will not display correctly on your computer without this control.
To install it:
1. Right-click the Internet Explorer Information Bar. It's located just below
the address bar.

There is NO other information bar showing. I have no idea what else could be
blocking it. If it had to do with McAfee a dropdown box with a warning would
have appeared.

Is there any other way I could get ActiveX downloaded to desktop so I could
install it manually?

Thanks, Karen
