if you mean backup files: If you select the option to create backup files from the Service Pack 2 Setup Wizard, you can uninstall SP2 later. Doing so creates the %systemroot%\ $NtServicePackUninstall$ folder, which contains the requisite backup information.
thats from <http://www.informit.com/articles/article.asp?p=381919&seqNum=3&rl=1> but obviously you remove the option to uninstall sp2 then. You need to have Explorer show hidden and system files to be able to see it; you can enable this in Explorer by selecting Tools | Folder Options | View | Show hidden files and folders. Once you see this folder, simply remove it by deleting it. You may also want to remove the add/remove entry for service pack 2 from the registry, it should be at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ Roger Wilkerson wrote: > I believe there are the files saved when I updated to SP2.
