Isn't that what is says plainly on the sticker on some of them? "Designed For Windows XP" for example. How can the latest model motherboards etc. I use today run as well with Windows Longhorn as motherboards and hardware designed specifically for Windows Longhorn? The one who benefits most from an operating system upgrade is Microsoft.
