That's what I thought -- So I think the answer is that something *ELSE* is wrong with my setup [dunno what yet]... [I'm guessing it might be ZoneAlarm on my desktop [I use the windows firewall on the laptop] being too aggressive about 'blocking' my laptop... but I just wanted to double- check that I didn't need to 'enable' something or the like].
