James :-)  In the services view, started as described in an earlier post

from the appropriate Start/Programs item, look down the list, expanding
the 
column as required in order to read the whole service name. There is a 
Remote Procedure Call and a <ditto> Locator service. Verify the RPC
service 
is running. Right-click it if not, and click start from the menu thus 
displayed.

Thanks again David. I do not know what to right click on. Where do I
find RPC service? I do not see it in Control Panel or in the printer
control screen.
