JUL. 8 7:16 A.M. ET  The teenager who created last year's Sasser computer
worm was convicted Friday of computer sabotage and given a suspended
sentence, a court official said.

Sven Jaschan, 19, also was found guilty of illegally altering data, said
Katharina Krueztfeld, a spokeswoman for the court in the northwestern town
of Verden. He was given a suspended sentence of one year and nine months.
