Thanks for the 'eyes up'

I'll probably not bother with that, but I do use dirprn to create checking
lists for those filesets I archive:
Those lists let me check for modified files where the date and time are not
updated, and
apparently new files where the name and creation data change but the content
doesn't.

That Karenware utility goes well with the 'Quickpar' facilities ability to
recover the odd file that gets corrupted on archives
