means is that as my desktop switches from one dialup to another [I do

connections and change which RAS connection is set for 'sharing'
Why do you have to go into network settings? Couldn't you just switch back
to the primary dialin & that would become the new shared connection? If
you're doing that from a shared machine you could use VNC to change the
dialup & then close VNC as opposed to running [or walking <g>] back to the
desktop machine.
