I assume we are talking about Adobe Acrobat as an expensive "editor". Yes, it 
does
seem somewhat expensive. I don't recall if a lower-cost utility like PentaPDF 
can
merge a number of PDF files into a single PDF file but I suspect it can.  
Anyway,
for books and even electronic tech newsletters like the LangaList, I'd rather 
print
and read rather than looking at a computer screen so I can make notes in the
margins and watch tv at the same time. :-) Sometimes I'll go back to the 
electronic
version for the convenience of a URL.

I wonder if we'll get all the chapters (somehow I doubt it) given that the 
current
offering is chapter 5. It is probably a reasonable marketing tool to give folks 
a
chance to see how they like it before visiting Amazon.com or eBay to buy a copy.
