Thanks to the List for their suggestions. I decided to take the "plunge".
Uninstalled Norton AntiVirus and flipped a coin and went with Avast! on my
desktop. Both Avast! and AVG& looked like very solid performers. Registered
Avast! for the next 14 months.
Am looking forward to a good experience, based on your recommendations! Will
put on all 3 of our home PCs as Norton AV subscriptions expire on the other 2
PCs.
