Windows Media Player 6.4 with the latest available updates won't
play my MP3 files.
I get "(Error=80004001). I just installed Media Player Classic
as part of a "Real Alternative" package and it appears to be
playing but I get no sound. However I get sound using MPC to
watch a NASA TV Realmedia stream.
Good old Irfanview plays the MP3 files just fine using an xaudio
plugin.
Any ideas as to how to get Media Player Classic working? This is
a Win98SE system like NASA uses :)
