Howdy folks, just got my first DL media for my oem Pioneer A08 drive. Media is the memorex DVD+R DL disks. Using nero, I've made my first coaster with this drive, got an error about positioning problems in nero.
Anyhow this started me looking for newer firmwares, but no joy, all the links I go to turn out to be dead. Any recommendations for a working link to official and hacked firmwares for this drive? Dunno what firmware I currently have as the drive is in an SNT external usb2/firewire enclosure and device manager only shows the firewire chipset info. Anyone have any comments on burning the memorex disk with this drive, also how to flash the firmware while it's in the enclosure? Thanks -- Harondel J.
