Here are the errors that occurred in SYSTEM when I booted up
this morning.

They mean nothing to me, but perhaps they will enable someone
to point me in the right direction.

As before, it booted to the Desktop, loaded four items in the
system tray and then did nothing for three minutes, at which time
the network icon came on.
================================

The McAfee.com McShield service terminated unedpectedly. It
has done this 1 time.

The McAfee Task Scheduler service failed to start due to the
following error: The service did not respond to the start or
control request in a timely fashion.

Timeout (30000 miliseconds) waiting for the Mcafee Task
Scheduler service to respond.

The .NET Framework Service failed to start due to the following
error: The system cannot find the file specified.
===========================================

Question: Since McAfee has already been loaded before the
"lag", doesn't that mean that McAfee is not the problem?

What about that .NET framework Service? Could that be the
culprit? How do I handle that?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Jim
