Make sure you set the Administrator account password. By default Home
includes the Administrator account with a blank password.

I missed your message and now I am big trouble.
Is there any way to run as administrator if you did not set it
because it does not allow me to run as administrator now
and I have some how messed up security settings so that
I cannot even access my control panel.

I was referring to XP Home. The Administrator password is set on XP Pro when you install it.
