No,  being stationed at Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field in Gila Bend might 
have made it sort of easy to learn the correct pronunciation 

Now, that paint job .. when I saw and photographed our mascot, I thought it 
looked like it was hand beaded by Indians.  Will have to hunt up the pictures.
