At 05:15 01 09 2005 , the following was received

and with my gratitude
:
You're using SCSI - not the SATA-2 spec'd Hitachi drives @300Mb/sec
in a RAID 10 array (hot plug as well)
( mount them in a separate case with it's own power supply and cooling )

The SCSI is so I can port my current HDDs and CD then ad a couple of SATA HDDs and DVD

2 video cards - won't you want a pair of nice 40 " displays - with at least
2048 x 1536 physical resolution (3.2Mpixel)

OK I am convinced the second PCIe16 is worthless so are the PCIe1 slots -- Maybe one PCIe16 just in case.

And as far as I can see the SLI is worthless for a real human.

and wot about a UPS

I have a UPS

So I am left with only one question: Is SLI good for anything except games?

Please help this poor ole soul.

Jim
