When I opened the message, I found that Roger Wilkerson had written:

Actually, Roger, I think it's black and gray because the eMail checker is
turned off. Try it and see. I finally the eMail checker disabled. I had to
disable the plug in. The plug in was to be used in conjunction with some other
app.....forgot which.

I agree! I used it for years, but for some unknown reason switched to McAfee.
I think it was when I was in a moment of unconciousness <smile>. My wife has
always used AVG.
