Verizon requires that I log in to SMTP in order to send mail anytime
so I'll have to try it the next time I'm on the road.
This whole thread reminds me when I had wireless installed on my old
Acer laptop [P266]. It also doesn't make me feel not so bad that my
Dell L400 is 5yrs old p700 as at least it runs Xp.
