Hi Kylde, You could try the filter "fabric" used in kitchen cooker fan hoods! Next time I'm in the office, I'll see what we used to use as cooling fan filters.
I sympathise! We spend so much time using our PCs, that we forget the regular maintenance, like checking the state of the mobo capacitors (recent personal fright!). Re: smoking: no sermon, but my Dad decided to quit (& in time!) when he was lighting one up, with one smoldering in the ash-tray & one still in his mouth!
