Did no one actually just go look at the actual list description? right on the
list web page:

WIN-HOME is an open give-and-take forum relating to various versions
Microsoft's Windows(tm) operating systems: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows
Millenium Edition (ME), Windows XP and home/SOHO users of Windows NT/2000.

And in Ben's announcement of the new list-organization he wrote:

OS Specifics
------------
95: 98: ME: XP: NT: 2K: (specifics of each OS, incl. installation)

Note: Windows NT/2000 will continue to be covered primarily on the WINNT-L
list. Their inclusion here is for those people using NT 4.0 Workstation or
Windows 2000 Professional strictly in a Home/SOHO context as standalone
machines. The Server, Advanced Server, and Terminal Server versions of NT/2000
are not covered on WIN-HOME. Domain Controller, Active Directory, and similar
issues of interest only to a corporate usage environment are also not covered
on WIN-HOME.
