Agreed, but was anything learned by this experience was my point. I can't count the number of times clients have made the same mistake 2 or 3 times or if not the same mistake one very similar. Some people never learn ie: Client doesn't update their AV definitions so I point out the error of their ways so the next time they decide not to renew the subscription which is effectively not updating their AV definitions then they wonder why they got re-infected & in both cases I preached that they shouldn't be opening attachments from people they don't know if at all. Then of course there was the gal that told me that she has a cousin twice removed on her father's side by that name so she figured it was safe but she had no answer when I asked how her distant cousin could've gotten her email address. This kind of logic astounds me.
