What .exe is dependent on Ctrl-C to terminate it?  Name it.  Post a URL of
where to download it.  What is it doing when you would press Ctrl-C?

What batch file are we talking about?  Post it.

There are too many unknowns here to really contribute much more than
speculation.

When I tried your sugestion, Klyde, I lost the ability to quit the called
.exe file. So, maybe it exits  by calling the equivalent of Ctrl-C?

If so, I may just have to live with the 'problem.' :-(
