Hearing about those sorts of problems is what switched me to Acronis.
(That and the special $10 promo - full "upgrade" version.)
FWIW, When I mentioned contacting Acronis, I was refering to
a dumb booting problem (from their bootable CD) where I had no
mouse... They made me a special build number (that was never
released publicly) so I considered the support outstanding...
Newer, public builds did not have that problem anymore.
