Acronis wrote back (already!) and said they are investigating
the problem. I'll post any results.
It is too soon to have heard from Acronis yet, but I have found
an interesting way to cause back-up images to fail instantly after
the process starts. Either the log does not work with the bootCD,
or that is "the third" problem...
I can repeat it, but am not sure "exactly" what I am doing different(?)
to cause it... ( The original problem is rock solid repeatable...)
Disclaimer: Acronis is a good company that fixes their stuff right away.
I have worked with them before.
