Definitely. The S-Video is mainly for televisions that don't have VGA.
Anything you can output through S-Video you can also output through VGA,
including DVD movies.
However, before connecting it, find out what your max resolution and
refresh rate is on the TV. Set the computer to 640x480 with a 60Hz refresh
rate while still connected to a standard monitor. Then, once you get into
Windows, try bumping it to the max resolution and refresh rate. That way, if
it turns out the documentation was wrong, you could choose "no" on the "do
you want to keep this resolution" dialog and won't have to disconnect the
computer and plug it into a standard monitor to fix an unsupported
resolution.
If you don't know the max resolution and refresh, once you get it hooked up
at [EMAIL PROTECTED], try bumping it up one resolution at a time.
