You should be able to download the virus sig fileset for most ant-virus
applications and take it to the system on a memory stick
This is why I have them on a thumb drive in my pants pocket all the
time as well as adaware updates but I also carry a mini cdrw in my
shirt pocket that is a bootable BartGeoPe. Most of the time it has
the latest AV & Adaware updates on it but if not I can always grab
them off the thumb drive after I've booted the mini cdrw.
