Strange as my laptop BIOS doesn't have anything about pointing devices.
My Page 1 (Main) has Time, Date, Hard Drive, Quiet Boot, System Memory,
Extended Memory Build Version (1.00A) and Language.
My second Page (Advanced) has IDE Control, Parallel Port and under that it
has these three items Mode, Base ID Address, Interrupt, and then the last item
on that page is Legacy USB Support (Enabled).
Jerry.
On Page 1 there is a setting that reads: Pointing Devices = . If
disabled my mouse pad does not work.
On Page 2 there are additional setting for other pointing and keyboard
devices. It reads: Legacy = . My setting for this = Emulation
Another setting reads: USB KB/Mouse Legacy Emulation = . My setting for
this = Enabled.
