I am running a win 98SE box with a Linksys router and SBC DSL. Recently
the 98 box will browse the internet for perhaps 10 minutes and then it
can't see web sites.

I never lose the ability to send or recieve email using Outlook 2000.

At the same time I can connect a work laptop running XP Pro SP1 to a
second port on the Linksys and it run like a champ. I use it maninly for
connecting to work via Cisco VPN but it works fine when I do not use it
with the Cisco connection. I never have the connectivity issue which
causes the 98SE box to have browser interuptus.

I am scratching my head as to what has recently changed and can think of
nothing. I also run several spyware malware utilities and don't have any
scan results that point to an issue.

It is about time to replace this box but I am trying to figure out what
has gotten messed up, if anything, so I can avoid repeat occurances.

Thanks.

David
