Talking about left handedness... :) Interesting experience I
had at one of our subdept offices which provides video support
(creating, writing, filming, editing, etc) for our county
offices. They were very creative folks, and usually most of
them would be out and about doing what they do. It was rare for
most of them to be in their office complex, much less at the
same time, yet I knew all of them, six women and three men.
One day I happened to go to their office complex while they
were all there, AND having a meeting, each of them taking
notes. I could sense something was "strange", but I couldn't
quite put my finger on it. Then the light bulb lit up, and I
had to laugh. I asked them if I would be disqualified to work
in their dept since I am right handed. We all had a good laugh
[which was good, I get to live another day :) ] and they told
me, *IF* I had talent (was that a qualifier statement or an
insult? :) ], they wouldn't hold my right handedness against
me. :)
Every one of them was left handed. And it was VERY surreal [at
least it was for me :) ] to see nine left hands, ALL the left
hands in the room other than mine, scribbling notes at the same
time. Made me dizzy for a while. <VBG>
I wonder why, as a group, I never realized they were *ALL* left
handed, knowing, as individuals, *each* of them was left
handed? <scratching head with right hand> :)
