Sorted!
The location is under that flap/door and is really obvious if you look at
it from the front - there's a very narrow gap with the connector edge tucked
well under the metal shield. Just enough room to squeeze the module in - an
intermediate picture in the manual would have saved a lot of trouble.
My thanks to all of you stalwarts who put your shoulders to the wheel on
this one.
