Yes them 'Jap' bead things can last a long time if you handle them gently, the wired don't rust, and the wood was properly treated with lead paint
( I recently dumped an IBM XT - they wanted more for a replacement hard drive, than a complete new system would cost. I'm using a PS/2-50 in it's place - so much more responsive and the extra space on the 20Gb drive is a real boon.)
