Or, if you have a Mom & Pop ISP like mine, you call in, ask Mom if you
can speak to Pop. He fires off an e-mail to LSOFT or whomever, tells
you to check it out in 30-45 minutes. Within 30 minutes, there is a
mutter of thunder and all is forgiven.

I don't know if everyone with this sort of ISP has such a good
relationship or not, but for customer service, it's hard to beat. I
have Zero downtime for the past year and I have forgotten what a busy
signal sounds like.

If any "issue" arises, I always check out everything I can think of or
find in a book. Chuck knows that and my credibility with him stands
high.
