I use Exact Audio Copy (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) for ripping to .wav
files and LAME (http://lame.sourceforge.net/) tor encoding the ripped .wav
files as mp3s. Besides meeting all your listed requirements, EAC's main
claim to fame is that it is designed to eliminate errors in reading the CD.
Its main disadvantage is nonexistent documentation, but a good tutorial can
be found at

Can someone reccomend a piece of software for ripping audio CD's to mp3
files?
I'd like it to be free, support downloading the correct song titlkes from
the internet and allow encoding into lots of different mp3 qualities.
The program I used to use has expired so I'm looking for free
