You're probably looking having a hard time getting by at much less than $1000/month (if you're lucky). What you'll have to pay is an access cost [which is, actually, sort of the moral equivalent of having an ISP, only it is at a lower level [and they don't provide any services other than giving you a place to have the phone company connect your leased line to and put a router on their side of it]]. Then you'll have to arrange for two things in telco-land: first is a broadband line from your nearest central office to wherever you've made arrangements to have access. And second is a "local loop" -- to connect where-you-are to your central office. Altogether it ends up being a lot of money. Details, of course, vary wildly with where you are, what service you decide to sign up with and what speed you want. /bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- WIN-HOME Archives: http://PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM/archives/WIN-HOME.html Contact the List Owner about anything: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Official Win-Home List Members Profiles Page http://www.besteffort.com/winhome/Profiles.html
