Indeed.. is that a problem? I also give MS access to my computer [I'm way too lazy to download the patches manually and install them myself]. But on the other side of the coin, the online scans don't have to embed themselves in the very bowels of your system [doing lord knows what (read "Sony^H^H^H^HSymantec rootkit"..:o)] The only real drawback I've seen to using the online scans is that it is a bunch slower than using a 'local' one [especially for me on my stupid slow dialup line]. /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- To Change your email Address for this list, send the following message: CHANGE WIN-HOME your_old_address your_new_address to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Note carefully that both old and new addresses are required.
