Hi folks These are very common in the UK and continental Europe. The Nigerian Gov' call then 401 or something like that. Most originated in Nigeria but many now come via Russia and Holland. What they do is empty your account! Strange that. The scam is that they need a signature to prove you are a long lost relative of a deceased multi millionaire or somebody's uncle that died leaving 100,000,000 dollars, pounds, or whatever currency is good (usually $ US) and need to pay it into a real bank account they then promise to withdraw 99% of it and leave you the remainder???? No way José! They leave you with a gigantic overdraft............... Legal too as you signed the forms. Sir Hugh of Bognor Intelligence is not knowing the answer but knowing where and how to find it!
