Aha! OK. I just created a new group and dragged a clip there. How do I paste that clip into an application?

There are a bunch of ways. First of, the easiest for really often used clips, is to hotkey the clip: If you open CC+, right-click on the particular clip you'll see that you can assign a hotkey to it. The hotkey'll just paste that clip right in.

Another way is to set a hotkey to "ClipMenu". That'll pop up a menu with your currently selected group open, and all your other groups on submenus. You can navigate around [either with the mouse, arrows or typing [it'll do incremental matches as you type]. then just hit 'enter' when you get to the clip you want. [on the options/general, be sure to check "clipmenu pastes into the last application"]. [this last, the 'clipmenu' is what I mostly use all the time].

That makes sense. Let me see if it works. Didn't work for me. Selecting the clip, then copy and finally paste did work.

Thanks.
