I've been a PM owner/user since version 1.x all way to curent version and
until recently I've sworn by PM, however, I've since switched to Acronis
Partition Expert, part of the Disk Director Suite which is generally cheaper
US$50 (non sale price) and has more features. More importantly for me, I've
had Partition Expert work in cases where PM8.x would barf and die, or not
work at all. Lastly, PE works with the ntfs version from server oses like
NT4, Win2k3 etc, unlike PM which pops up a message that it does not work with
server oses and you need to get server magic which was around US$700 last I
looked.

I've also found Acronis support, while not perfect, to be a LOT more
responsive than Symantec has even been. Powerquest support used to be quite
good, however I've not called them since they were taken over.
